• The speed limit for touristic transportation in Peruvian roads is 90 km/h.
• To avoid annoyances because of the different altitudes, we start the program in Arequipa allowing the client to acclimatize gradually.

1st day Arrival in Lima (154 masl)
Arrival at Lima's international airport in the afternoon or night. Meeting with our personnel, transfer and lodging in hotel (private service, English-speaking assistant). Overnight.

2nd day Lima / Arequipa (2.300 masl)
Breakfast in hotel. In the morning, visit the historical center (fee entrance to the Cathedral and San Francisco Convent are included) and the Larco Museum (private service, English-speaking guide). In the afternoon, transfer to the airport to take the flight to Arequipa. At the arrival, meeting with our personnel and transfer to the hotel. Overnight.

3rd day Arequipa
Breakfast in hotel. In the morning, city tour including the Santa Catalina Convent (private service, English-speaking guide). Afternoon is at leisure. In the evening, dinner at ZigZag Restaurant. Overnight.

4th day Arequipa / Puno (3.827 masl)
Breakfast in hotel. Transfer to the airport to take the flight to Juliaca. At the arrival, transfer to Puno, visiting along the way the Sillustani necropolis (private service, English-speaking guide), box lunch included. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight.

5th day Puno / Titicaca Lake / Puno
Breakfast in hotel. Full day excursion to Titicaca Lake visiting the Uros floating islands and Taquile Island, box lunch included (private speedboat, English-speaking guide). Overnight in hotel in Puno.

6th day Puno / Cusco (3.399 masl) / Sacred Valley (2.846 masl)
Breakfast in hotel. Transfer to the airport to take the flight to Cusco. At the arrival, transfer to the Sacred Valley, visit along the way Awanacancha (private service, English-speaking guide) to meet native weavers and see South American camelid species. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight.

7th day Sacred Valley
Breakfast in hotel. Full day excursion to visit the towns of Chinchero, Maras and the Inca's salt mines, the ancient farm laboratory of Moray, Pisaq market and the Ollantaytambo fortress (private service, English-speaking guide), lunch included at Wayra Restaurant, which offers the valley's delicious treats as well as a Peruvian Paso horse demonstration and a performance of the Marinera dance. After the excursion, transfer and lodging in the hotel. Overnight.

8th day Sacred Valley / Machu Picchu / Cusco
Breakfast in hotel. Transfer to Ollantaytambo's station to take the Vistadome train (almost 1.30-hour journey – 1st class, subject to availability) to Machu Picchu town. At the arrival, transfer by public bus to the archaeological complex to visit Machu Picchu, lunch included at the Sanctuary Lodge. In the afternoon, transfer to the station to take the Vistadome train to Poroy (almost 3.30-hour journey – 1st class, subject to availability). At Poroy, transfer to Cusco (30m) and lodging in the hotel (private services, English-speaking guide). Overnight.

Optional: Hiram Bingham train (10.53/12.24 – 17.50/21.16, luxury class, subject to availability).
The service includes a brunch and excellent selection of Peruvian wines / On board music entertainment / Tourist guide for every group of 14 passengers / Tickets and exclusive transportation to Machu Picchu / Tea Time in the Belmond Sanctuary Lodge / Gourmet dinner on the return journey.
The service does not include the lunch at the Sanctuary Lodge.

The train ticket, allows the transport clients and their hand luggage (01 bag or backpack) with a weight of no more than 05kg/11lb and with a maximum size of 62 linear inches/157 cm (length + height + width ), with the cars intended for this purpose.
We will take the luggage from the Sacred Valley to the hotel in Cusco.

9th day Cusco
Breakfast in hotel. In the morning, excursion to visit the historical center (fee entrance to the Cathedral and Santo Domingo/Coricancha are included) and the ruins of Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Puca Pucara and Tambomachay (private service, English-speaking guide). Afternoon is at leisure. In the evening, farewell dinner at the Map Café Restaurant. Overnight.

10th day Cusco / Lima
Breakfast in hotel. Transfer to the airport to take the flight to Lima (passengers are requested to be at the airport 3 hours before international flight).
