1st day Arrival in Lima (154 masl)
Arrival at Lima's international airport in the afternoon or night. Meeting with our personnel, transfer and lodging in hotel (private service, English-speaking assistant). Overnight.

2nd day Lima / Arequipa (2.300 masl)
Breakfast in hotel. Transfer from the hotel (9:45am) to the colonial and bohemian quarter of Barranco to visit a small shop of artisan roasting coffee where every day, best-quality beans are selected to produce the best Peruvian organic coffee in town. Following this, we will visit a secret garden to try a lucuma milkshake right underneath the tree that bears this fruit. We will then go to a traditional marketplace in the San Isidro district to try some local fruits and know about their influence in the international cuisine development. The following stop is at the Embarcadero 41 Restaurant, one of the best ceviche spots located in the Miraflores district. Here, you will have the opportunity to prepare Pisco sour with a professional bartender, and will discover the secrets for a perfect ceviche by preparing it along with the main chef. Our last stop will be at the Huaca Pucllana Restaurant for a gourmet Peruvian lunch (private service, English-speaking guide). Transfer to the airport to take the flight to Arequipa. At the arrival, transfer and lodging in the hotel. Overnight.

3rd day Arequipa
Breakfast in hotel. Gastronomic tour (5h) (private service, English-speaking guide): visit to Yanahuara, Cayma and Carmen Alto, from where there is a panoramic view of the volcanoes and farming areas of the city, and then visit the San Camilo food market, the oldest in the city. After that, go to the Cabildo Grill & Wine Restaurant to prepare two dishes of the Arequipa cuisine. Finally, taste the prepared dishes and a tourist menu. In the afternoon, visit to the historical center and Santa Catalina (private service, English-speaking guide). In the evening, dinner at ZigZag Restaurant. Overnight.

4th day Arequipa / Cusco (3.399 masl)
Breakfast in hotel. Transfer to the airport to take the flight to Cusco. At the arrival, transfer and lodging in the hotel. Morning is at leisure. In the afternoon, excursion to visit the historical center (fee entrance to the Cathedral and Santo Domingo/Coricancha are included) and the ruins of Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Puca Pucara and Tambomachay (private service, English-speaking guide). In the evening, dinner at MAP Café Restaurant. Overnight.

5th day Cusco / Sacred Valley (2.846 masl)
Breakfast in hotel. Transfer to the place where they our cook will teach us how to elaborate a traditional Pachamanca. After helping preparing the ingredients and placing them under ground, we will wait to open it. After having lunch, transfer to the hotel (private service, English-speaking guide). Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight.

6th day Sacred Valley (2.846 masl)
Breakfast in hotel. Full day excursion to visit the towns of Chinchero, Maras and the Inca's salt mines, the ancient farm laboratory of Moray, Pisaq market and the Ollantaytambo fortress (private service, English-speaking guide), lunch included at Wayra Restaurant, which offers the valley's delicious treats as well as a Peruvian Paso horse demonstration and a performance of the Marinera dance. After the excursion, transfer and lodging in the hotel. Overnight.

7th day Sacred Valley / Machu Picchu / Cusco
Breakfast in hotel. Transfer to Ollantaytambo's station to take the Vistadome train (almost 1.30-hour journey – 1st class, subject to availability) to Machu Picchu town. At the arrival, transfer by public bus to the archaeological complex to visit Machu Picchu, lunch included at the Sanctuary Lodge. In the afternoon, transfer to the station to take the Vistadome train to Poroy (almost 3.30-hour journey – 1st class, subject to availability). At Poroy, transfer to Cusco (30m) and lodging in the hotel (private services, English-speaking guide). Overnight.

Optional: Hiram Bingham train (10.53/12.24 – 17.50/21.16, luxury class, subject to availability).
The service includes a brunch and excellent selection of Peruvian wines / On board music entertainment / Tourist guide for every group of 14 passengers / Tickets and exclusive transportation to Machu Picchu / Tea Time in the Belmond Sanctuary Lodge / Gourmet dinner on the return journey.
The service does not include the lunch at the Sanctuary Lodge.

The train ticket, allows the transport clients and their hand luggage (01 bag or backpack) with a weight of no more than 05kg/11lb and with a maximum size of 62 linear inches/157 cm (length + height + width), with the cars intended for this purpose.
We will take the luggage from the Sacred Valley to the hotel in Cusco.

8th day Cusco / Lima
Breakfast in hotel. Transfer to the airport to take the flight to Lima. At the arrival, meeting with our personnel and transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon, visit the historical center (fee entrance to the Cathedral and San Francisco Convent are included) and the residential zone (private service, English-speaking guide). In the evening, farewell dinner at La Rosa Náutica Restaurant. Overnight.

9th day Departure from Lima
Breakfast in hotel. In the morning, visit the Larco Museum (private service, English-speaking guide), including the lunch at Café del Museo Larco. Transfer to the airport at the proper time for departure (passengers are requested to be at the airport 3 hours before international flight).
