Arrival at Lima’s international airport in the afternoon or night. Meeting with our personnel, transfer and lodging in hotel (private service, English-speaking assistant). Overnight.

Breakfast in hotel. Transfer from the hotel (9:45am) to the colonial and bohemian quarter of Barranco to visit a small shop of artisan roasting coffee where every day, best-quality beans are selected to produce the best Peruvian organic coffee in town. Following this, we will visit a secret garden to try a lucuma milkshake right underneath the tree that bears this fruit. We will then go to a traditional marketplace in the San Isidro district to try some local fruits and know about their influence in the international cuisine development. The following stop is at one of the best ceviche spots located in the Miraflores district. Here, you will have the opportunity to prepare Pisco sour with a professional bartender, and will discover the secrets for a perfect ceviche by  reparing it along with the main chef. Our last stop will be at the Huaca Pucllana for a gourmet Peruvian lunch (private service, English-speaking guide). Transfer to the airport to take the flight to Arequipa.
At the arrival, transfer and lodging in the hotel. Overnight.

Breakfast in hotel. Gastronomic tour (5h) (private service, English-speaking guide): Culinary experience in Arequipa with interactive classes of local cuisine with the conduction of Mr. Roger Falcón, son of the owner of one of the most typical chili peppers in Arequipa, which is located in the district of Characato. Roger, with the utmost intelligence, has achieved the mixture of the ancestral knowledge of his lady mother with his new culinary concepts, opening in the center of Arequipa the Benita de los Claustros (Cloisters), and Victoria in the second block of San Francisco Street. Between the story of stories and anecdotes purely arequipeñas, Roger combines his knowledge and studies on traditional Arequipeña cuisine and customs in a genuine atmosphere of hot pepper showing 500 years of gastronomic history, architecture, Ideology, etc. In the afternoon, walking tour to visit historical center and Santa Catalina Convent (private service, English-speaking guide). Overnight.

Breakfast in hotel. Transfer to the airport to take the flight to Cusco. Upon arrival, transfer and lodging in the hotel. Morning is at leisure. In the afternoon, historical center walking tour (fee entrance to the Cathedral and Santo Domingo/Coricancha are included) and transfer to the ruins of Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Puca Pucara and Tambomachay (private service, English-speaking guide). In the evening, dinner at MAP Cafe.
Overnight.

Breakfast in hotel. Day dedicated to the pachamanca (7h) (private services, English-speaking guide): Transfer to a local market located in Urubamba. From the marketplace, passengers will be transferred to our lunch spot near Ollantaytambo, where they will meet their cooks that will teach them how to elaborate a traditional Pachamanca. After helping preparing the ingredients and placing them under ground and have to wait for a while, passengers will enjoy a Mother earth or Pachamama ceremony, which is a worshiping mother Earth and thanking her for the food they will eat. Then the Pachamanca will be opened and dishes will be served. After lunch, transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight.

Breakfast in hotel. Excursion to visit the Pisaq market and the Ollantaytambo fortress, lunch included at Wayra Restaurant (private service, English-speaking guide). Then, transfer to Ollantaytambo’s station to board the train to Aguas Calientes (almost 1.30-hour journey, subject to availability). Upon arrival, you will be picked up by hotel staff who will escort you to the hotel for checking in. Overnight.
** If this day is Sunday, it is possible to visit the market of Chinchero.

Breakfast in hotel. In the morning, a private guide will pick you up from your hotel to take the 30-minute shuttle bus up to Machu Picchu (private service, English-speaking guide). After the guided tour, the local guide will leave you and lunch at the Sanctuary Lodge. Then, you will take the shuttle bus descend to Aguas Calientes town to collect your own luggage and walk around 5 minutes to the train station for your train back to Ollantaytambo (almost 1.30-hour journey, subject to availability). Upon arrival, transfer to Cusco (almost 2-hour journey) (private service, Spanish-speaking driver). Overnight.

Breakfast in hotel. Transfer to the airport
