Peru
Politically Peru is divided into 24 departments, which includes 194 provinces, and a constitutional province, Callao.
Due to its geographic location ( in the tropical southern hemisphere), Peru should have a warm, humid and rainy weather. Instead, the Andean Mountains, the anticlonic circulation of the south Pacific and the cold Humboldt Current generates a great variety of climates(is the 3rd country in the world with a high climate diversity).
Peru has three main geographic regions: Coast (12%), Mountain (28%) and Jungle(60%), which are divided in several climatic regions due to the different microclimates and ecosystems.
